Links report
The Links report scores link health, breaks down internal, external, and social links, and flags broken and redirected links.
The Links report scores the site's link health and surfaces the pages carrying the most broken or low-quality links. Internal links spread ranking authority and tell search engines how pages relate; broken and redirected links leak that authority and frustrate users. This report separates the working structure from the leaks.
Score and bands
The report opens with a link score and its distribution across pages. The score reads into three bands:

| Excellent | 90–100 | Strong structure, no broken links, complete social presence |
| Good | 70–89 | Solid structure with few broken links |
| Critical | < 70 | Many broken links, missing social links, unbalanced distribution |
The score distribution groups pages into High quality (70–100%), Needs improvement (40–69%), and Critical (0–39%) so the spread across the site is visible at a glance.
Status, distribution, and coverage
The report breaks link health into the signals that make up the score.
- Link status — links classed as working, broken, or redirected; broken links waste authority and hurt users, and long redirect chains slow both crawlers and visitors
- Link distribution — the split of internal, external, and social links, so an over-reliance on external links or a shortage of internal ones stands out
- Social media coverage — which pages carry social links and which are missing them, a supporting distribution and discovery signal
- Leaderboards — pages with the most broken links, high performers, and pages that need attention
Fix broken internal links before external ones. An internal 404 wastes authority you already own and sends crawlers into dead ends; an external broken link is worth cleaning up but doesn't drain your own link equity the same way.
A per-page detail view breaks the link analysis down for a single URL. An AI insight reads the findings back as next steps.
